In Brief:
SorbtiveFILTER is a stand-alone stormwater quality treatment system that is cartridge based system that incorporates SorbtiveMEDIA for filtration of sediment, sediment-bound pollutants and capture of dissolved phosphorus. SorbtiveFILTER removal mechanisms include:Sedimentation coarse sediment, debris and gross pollutants; Floatation for trash, hydrocarbons and oil; Physical filtration of sediment and sediment-bound pollutants; Sorption of dissolved pollutants, such as phosphorus. SorbtiveFILTER can be installed a wide variety of new development and redevelopment sites to treat stormwater runoff including infill projects, commercial, residential, industrial, ports, roadways and highways. SorbtiveFILTER is comprised of one or more filter cartridges, filled with SorbtiveMEDIA housed in a variety of configurations, such as; catch basins, manholes and vaults.
